The work of Montreal-resident David Kucer, over the past 40 to 50 years he has built about 70 miniature guns, they are fully functioning except for the fact that there is no ammunition for them... full size here
They are built to exact specifications (taking up to a year) using the same material as used originally for the full-size gun, including the ivory... Conforming to international regulations against poaching, they have to use antique ivory only, the main source for antique ivory is old pool balls from the 1920's and 1930's... For the rifle in this photo, he had to use antique ivory from an actual tusk (that was harvested prior to 1973, as per regulations)
