Was riding and struggling going up this huge hill when I saw this and had to stop. Man it was worth the shot but stopping in the middle of a big hill and need to start again YIKES. Happy Day
Local supermarket's effort for Valentines Day. I thought one red heart a bit mean, so I helped out by adding some others.
When in Singapore look up often. Four out of five Singaporeans live in high-rise public housing such as this but it is far from a bland concrete jungle. High-rise blocks often feature uncommon shapes, distinct designs and a splash of vibrant murals or colours. Taken late 2019.
One of the most stunning sunrises I have had the pleasure to experience anywhere in the world, the fact that it was right on my doorstep (so to speak) was a bonus.

We had a visit from a friend who is French but lives in London. He was with his mother who lives in Nice and it's where he is staying for about six weeks. It was his birthday so we took them out for lunch in the village. Afterwards we had a bit of a stroll around and I was struck by the fabulousness of these agapanthus. :-)

The Great Gate of Christ's College, Cambridge is one of the college's original buildings. The college was actually founded two times, first in the middle of the 15th century (then under the name God's house) and then again in 1505 by Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of the then king of England. It is her coat of arms that can be seen over the gate. The gate dates to this time. The paint job (which might very well be inspired by how it would have looked back then) is not.
