HCA Far West Division employees wore blue and helped raise $1,000 for Dress in Blue Day on March 2, 2012.
HCA Far West Division also worked to actively recognize the family members and friends of colon cancer patients.
Gastrointestinal Associates employees wore blue for Dress in Blue Day. Employees paid $5 to wear blue jeans and they sold homemade baked goods to raise a grand total of $350.
Digestive CARE employees wore blue for Dress in Blue Day 2012. In addition, employees raised over $800.
My husband had surgery for colon cancer recently. After a visit to the surgeon's office a week or so ago, I brought home a booklet that instructed patients with all sorts of information about what is involved with colon cancer surgeries and treatment. These guys found the pictures to be rather (for lack of a better word) juvenile, and therefore commenced to make fun of the booklet. We could not stop laughing!
