Dear friends,

The time has come and my new mini collection is online : )! I’m still highly in love with the boho style and there are already many new designs I’d like to sew *lol*.

This collection offers you some fabulous print fabrics and – you all know how much I love that – a lot of fashions that can be mixed and matched again and again : ).

I hope you’ll enjoy looking at the pictures and maybe pay me a visit at my etsy store.

Have a lovely and sunny day,

Dearest greetings,

Nina*

Once upon a time Venus Mcflytrap was my favorite doll and the character i was most excited for. And her original doll still thrills me but I feel her other dolls leave something to be desired. I was also really stoked to find the coffin bean Venus because of her green make up and big curly hair.

The College & Graduate School of Art and the University Libraries' Department of Special Collections gathered Thursday, March 1, to celebrate the work of Jack Unruh. Unruh has gifted more than 2,500 originals, preparatory drawings, and tear sheets to the Modern Graphic History Library, which is comprised of original art and printed material from many fields of popular American pictorial graphic culture. For more information, visit library.wustl.edu/units/spec/MGHL.

Since 1919, Nutana Collegiate has housed an amazing collection of original artwork, which was first organized as a memorial to alumni who died during the First World War. Early pioneer artists such as Gus Kenderdine, James H. Henderson, and Inglis Sheldon-Williams are just some of the featured artists. This part of the collection is behind plexiglas in the main hallway.

Part of Anni Albers

(October 2018 – January 2019)

A long overdue recognition of Anni Albers's pivotal contribution to modern art and design, this is the first major exhibition of her work in the UK.

As a female student at the radical Bauhaus art school, Albers was discouraged from taking up certain classes. She enrolled in the weaving workshop and made textiles her key form of expression. She inspired and was inspired by her artist contemporaries, among them her teacher, Paul Klee, and her husband, Josef Albers.

This beautiful exhibition illuminates the artist’s creative process and her engagement with art, architecture and design. You can discover why Albers has been a profound influence on artists around the world via more than 350 objects from exquisite small-scale ‘pictorial weavings’ to large wall-hangings and the textiles she designed for mass production, as well as her later prints and drawings.

At the heart of the exhibition is an exploration of Albers’s seminal publication On Weaving 1965 and the wide source material she gathered together to create the book.

R.I.P. Ray Condo~He's the long ,tall fellow on the far left trying to stay outta the fray & not spill his drink on the sleeve of the great Sprague Bros. 45. I had a blast playing with Brother Ray and his band on a bunch of West Coast tour dates in the mid 90s. Country Dick Montana~was always a party, he was one of the guests on the ";Dressed to Swill" album I recorded with the Forbidden Pigs. Mark Moreland from Wall of Voodoo~lived in San Jose and we became fast friends & talked about him joining the Defiant Ones. Fast Floyd pegged me as the Drummer of the band he was putting together before he took his own life. Cheers~It was a pleasure knowing you all.

This time I present a small collection based on beautiful fabrics lace, that got thanks to my beautiful friend Machelle!
