For over 50 years the San Diego Air & Space Museum (SDASM) www.sandiegoairandspace.org , has preserved the aviation heritage of San Diego and the world, through a unique collection documenting the history of aviation from the dawn of flight to space exploration. Established in 1961, SDASM is one of the largest aviation museums in the nation, housing the third largest aerospace library and archives. The Museum showcases the history of and contributions to society provided by the development and advancement of air and space technology. The Museum experience provides a means for the public to gain a greater understanding of current and projected aerospace efforts that play such a key role in the national economy, our position in a technical and competitive world, and mankind's future exploration. CollectionThe Museum's Library & Archives houses one of the most significant collections of aerospace-related research materials in the world. Materials in the Library & Archives collections exist in a variety of formats, including books, periodicals, films and videos, manuals, drawings, and more. Collection is a magazine that presents drawing in many forms, from contemporary art to graphic novels to graphic design. All artists themselves, the Collection team proposes neither a journalistic viewpoint nor a critic’s vision, but instead aspires to defend drawing, with no barriers between genres, by letting the actors themselves speak.

Gideon's class craft for the school fundraiser: We had the kids make bugs out of recycled materials then we tagged and mounted them.
They gave their bugs names which we translated into Latin and they listed where they "found" them.

Hi, my name is Ingo from Germany and I'm collecting Stars Wars Minifigs since 5 years. This is my collection so far. Here are some notes:
1. Nothing you can see is for sale
2. I hate yellow heads! I replaced them by printed(!) custom heads or heads which are looking similar to the original head.
2. The custom figs are printed, no decals or paints are used.
3. I hate figs like Aldar Beedo, I think these are no real minifigs.So I will not collect them.
4. I will not collect droids, which are made of standard Lego bricks like Pit-, Spider-, Mouse Droids, R1-G4 and so on.
5. I will not collect animals, except Wampa (I'm a fan of him since I was a child)
6. There is a blue LED backlight. I will add a picture of it soon.
7. If you request a picture of a single minifig, I will try to add this.
8. Row 1-6 (from top): Figs from the Movies IV-VI, Row 7-12: Figs from the Movies I-III and TCW.
10. The figs are not sorted by name, type or set.

I always loved nutcrackers, ever since I saw the "Nutcracker" ballet when I was 10. I wanted one then, but at the time in 1983 a nutcracker was very expensive. They didn't have walmarts and targets back then. I got my first nutcracker when I was about 15 and have been collecting them ever since. The pinnocio is from germany that my aunt got for me. The tiniest nutcracker there in the front is only about an inch tall!
