And this is a VERY small part of my whole collection. I have sooo many of them, I've been collecting them for over 20 years now. (I'm 31) I love mother-of-pearls, it has something magical to me.

Sitting here trying to figure out how I'm going to house them. I don't know yet for sure, but I think I'm leaning towards a rainbow. But its hard figuring out how to place the rainbow girls together with the natural girls, and my EBL girls will stay together on a seperate section of the Expedit I think...

Fun, but a little maddening too xD

Can you guess what caught my eye about Loretta??? hehehehe

The hôtel de la Marine (also known as the hôtel du Garde-Meuble) is an historic building located on place de la Concorde in Paris, to the east of rue Royale. It was designed and built between 1757 and 1774 by the architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, on the newly created square first called Place Louis XV. The identical building to its west, constructed at the same time, now houses the hôtel de Crillon and the Automobile Club of France.

The Hôtel de la Marine was originally the home of the royal Garde-Meuble, the office managing the furnishing of all royal properties. Following the French Revolution it became the Ministry of the French Navy, which occupied it until 2015. It was entirely renovated between 2015 and 2021.

It now displays the restored 18th century apartments of Marc-Antoine Thierry de Ville-d'Avray, the King's Intendant of the Garde-Meuble, as well the salons and chambers later used by the French Navy.

A separate part displays the Al Thani Collection presenting international and inter-cultural works of art from the collection of Sheik Hamad bin Abdullah Al Thani.

A selection of globular springtails from our Staffordshire garden today. All found under fallen beech leaves on the lawn.

Top row; Sminthurinus aureus, both typical and dark forms. Bottom left Sphaeridia pumilis, bottom right Sminthurinus elegans.

The dark forms of Sminthurinus aureus are particularly numerous at the moment. One leaf that I looked under must have had several dozen on it!

Canon 5D Mk III + MP-E lens (at 5x magnification) + 1.4x tele-extender + 25mm extension tube + YN24EX flash. Heavily cropped.

These are the patterns that will be available to decorate custom-made crochet hook handles, seam ripper handles, stick pens, pendant necklaces and more in the Polka Dot Cottage shop this season. Custom ordering opening this week! www.polkadotcottage.com

All Things Must Pass - Which my wife searched for in many, many second hand record stores for my birthday many years ago. That's true love for you!

What up everyone.. first I want to start of by apologizing for this being so damn late. I know Halloween has already past but only ‘bout a week ago. But shit I got a late start on it & then had a busy ass month on top of it.– with a new second job, plenty of Halloween parties (the best kind), family, & a handful of other things on my plate. So ain’t had much time to work on this, but I did finally push myself to finish last night. Hope ya’ll like it.. had the idea for it years back – think 2007 or maybe 2008 to be exact. But didn’t actually finally “rough it up” till bout half way threw last month. Then as I put the shit on paper I made more & more changes till finally came up with this. & hell we all know that Scooby & Shaggy are secretly stoners, always sneaking off & with that kind of appetite too! – But hell now they were finally caught red-handed! But something tells me that they could careless at the moment ha ha! Hope ya’ll enjoyed your Halloween, fuck I know I did! Oh & one more thing before I go .. curious what was everyone (for Halloween that is)?

Salvage Shop, Sturbridge, MA

To date, this is what I own. Compared to the amount of OCs I've made and sold, this looks so small to me. On that note, I'm done selling customs (at least for 2011). If I have time in life to rip out doll's hair, put it back in, repaint her face, and make custom clothing, it will probably be for me. LOL And I don't even anticipate THAT happening any time soon!

Oxford's Cowley Road Carnival 2016. Everyone attending had a great time, and overall the weather was good. More to follow.

So, here's some other furniture. Pretty basic, no fancy or extra complicated building techniques here. Not too sure where this'll go, I'm thinking one of my modular buildings.

Also I seem to have forgotten to use the yellow background, so this one's gonna stick out like a sore thumb.

from our collections post in january on poppytalk. (and not all of our teacups are shown...)

The theme for Macro Mondays is "Guilty Pleasures".....One of mine is, I'm a collector.....of documents, stamps, coins, vintage photos.

Note the figures on the 1910 bill for plumbing work. Dec. 22- 30...dig a ditch and install 33 ft of pipe $26.50 for parts and labor and not the digger made more that the plumber did. HMM.
