The knife has spring action, and was designed to be used as a bayonet for the AK-47. I have lots of Soviet memorabilia. They are actual parts of my beloved CCCP, that I can touch.

*One of the first depictions of the Maverick mascot was a horse with horns. These are the long horns which were strapped to an actual horse in the 1960s at the school. The practice didn't last long since horses were not allowed on the football fields.
