Bloomsburg University’s Regional STEM Education Center recently hosted roughly 100 Junior Girl Scouts from 21 regional troops for its first-ever GI-STEM: Girls In Science, Technology, Engineering, Math Day, where the scouts explored the world of STEM through 11 different hands-on stations directed by education majors, along with the Computer Science Club. #SenseOfCommunity #CollaborativeLearning bit.ly/1CqvZxm

More than 50 education majors were recently honored for graduating with honors during the College of Education’s Awards Program and Research Celebration, which included a series of research projects presented by graduate students. Several students were also recognized as outstanding seniors.

Students studying Special Topics in Geology are spending two weeks in the field this summer around Lake Michigan exploring different geoscience and environmental aspects of the Michigan Basin. More than 75 students within the College of Science and Technology presented their research to conclude the fall semester, as part of COST’s Research and Scholarship Day at Hartline Science Center.
