Yes, as it is getting a bit chilly out there we sure need some warm delicious drinks to warm our bellies.

Stunning little birds these so delicate and sociable always constantly on the move and never staying long in 1 area. They work the hedgerows searching for food in flocks always on the look out for sparrowhawk attack which they seem very susceptible to as they are not the most agile or fastest of fliers !!

The leaves are dropping and the air is getting colder, foliage season is slowly changing over to that time of the year between cold and colder.
Sorry, friends but I feel it - Autumn is on it's way to the PNW- ok, we did just have a full on 80 degree weekend but there's that lazy amber light in the mornings...that crisp smell to the air, and fallen leaves on sidewalks...
and, sunflowers~ by far the sunniest sign that Fall is not far behind:)

The Kalka–Shimla railway is a 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) narrow-gauge railway in North India which traverses a mostly-mountainous route from Kalka to Shimla. It is known for dramatic views of the hills and surrounding villages. The railway was built under the direction of Herbert Septimus Harington between 1898 and 1903 to connect Shimla, the summer capital of India during the British Raj, with the rest of the Indian rail system.
