Camus Cognac is a brand of cognac that has been produced by five generations of the Camus family, since 1863 when Jean-Baptiste Camus organized a group of producers to sell cognac under the brand 'La Grande Marque'.
Cointreau is an orange-flavored triple sec liqueur produced in Saint-Barthélemy-d'Anjou, France. It is consumed as an aperitif and digestif, and is a component of several well-known cocktails. It was originally called Curaçao Blanco Triple Sec. Despite the orange bottle, Cointreau is colourless. Cointreau Distillery was set up in 1849 by Adolphe Cointreau, a confectioner, and his brother Edouard-Jean Cointreau. Their first success was with the cherry liqueur guignolet, but they also found success when they blended sweet and bitter orange peels and pure alcohol from sugar beets. The first bottles of Cointreau were sold in 1875. An estimated 13 million bottles are sold each year, in more than 150 countries. Ninety percent of production is exported. Cointreau & Cie SA was family-owned until 1990, when it merged with Rémy Martin to form Rémy Cointreau, now a publicly traded company.
It's a fine quality cocktail, I tell ya :) Though 1 is enough for me, 2 and I'm tipsy for sure. You should try it.

Billie Chu's pho left such a bad taste in my mouth, I had to run to find another flavour to get rid of it. Just as well the airport chocolate shop sold Chocolatier chocolates individually. Perfect.

My home town Brussels is a ( secret ) pop-up cocktail richer, the Cointreau Fizz Garden, housed in a former bank building, and it's the place to be for anyone who want to discover the Cointreau Fizz cocktail in all its variations. The cool thing is that you can style your own drinks and make your own unique cocktail !
This amazing ( abandoned ) location was redecorated in garden style by Thierry Boutemy, a floral designer of international renown. Expect floral art, vintage decorations from the 20's, an amazing impressive setting and unique art work that give the interior a poetic touch. Music by local DJ's and surprise performances are provided.
Well, if you are visiting my home town the next week, this is the place to be !
Note that this is "private" and only open 3 days a week : Thursday, Friday and Saturday, opens at 18h30 ( you need to become "member" on the website, thats all you need to get in )

Our favourite summer drink. Homemade sweet and sour mix frozen then combined with Tequila and Cointreau. Mmmmmmmmm pucker up good;)

Cointreau: É um licor francês dos mais famosos do mundo, cujo aparecimento se deu no século XIX pela mão dos dois irmãos Cointreau. Hoje ainda é a família Cointreau quem domina a firma com o mesmo nome, com sede em Anvers, França. A sua produção faz-se a partir de cascas de laranjas amargas das "West Indies" e de cascas de laranjas doces espanholas. Para melhor apuramento de qualidade o Cointreau é de dupla destilação. A sua graduação alcoólica é de 40º GL.
MARGARITA
Ingredientes:
- cubo de limão
- sal
- gelo
- 30ml de Cointreau
- 60ml de tequila
- 30ml de suco de limão
Pegue o cubo de limão e passe na borda da taça. Em seguida passe a mesma borda no sal (colocar em um prato para facilitar).
Em um mixing glass (ou coqueteleira) adicione o gelo, o Cointreau, a tequila e o suco de limão. Agite bem. Sirva a mistura na taça, coando o gelo. Decore com uma tira de casca de limão.

Shake over ice, strain into a glass and top up with prosecco
