The subject being musical, I chose the title as a reference to... - any guesses?
OK, nobody even tried to guess, so I'll have to give it away: I was going to call this photo "Ebony and Ivory". 'Ring any bells? :)
"Release for constructive purposes the power you already have, and more will come. Move on your path with unflinching determination, using all the attributes of success. Tune yourself with the creative power of spirit."
~Paramahansa Yogananda
this quote rings so true to me because my creative process is just that.. to first let go and to start creating.. with determination..and it seems to come together from a place of no-mind.... so this image is itself a reminder that we are the creators of self.. and we can either create unconsciously or align with something higher
special thanks to ruby blossom and jinterwasfor the wonderful backgrounds

Photo from the series "Life is like a miracle". It was a pleasure for me to be engaged in co-creation with such a beautiful and deep person as Olga is. I remember I told her: just be yourself, free your mind, don't pose, forget about my presence and dive deep into yourself, and feel the sounds of your soul.
I swear I can hear the music she listens to and this is the music of joy.

Oil Pastel on Paper
16” x 20”, Framed
This pastel painting captures scenes of a web of creation through time. Worlds are being born even when we think all has ended or come to completion. At top right, a native warrior whose children have been slain calls us back to an ancient remembrance. He seeks to bring them back to life, caught up in the repetition of trauma. The Grandmother form gazes into the cosmos and there is a sense of connection to the ancient story, seemingly spun from the spiral of time that lives inside her mind. Magenta mountains spring forth as a crown, and a light rises from the lake even as the light shifts in the skies of this world and she breathes in from a field of stars.
