Once we got home, Rosie was friendly and sweet as could be with the energy and mischievousness of a typical, happy puppy. I knew instantly that what I had seen in her picture on purebredbreeders.com was true. This puppy would be the companion and playmate I wanted.
Lexie is almost 10 months old now and I wanted to let you know that she remains the most adorable puppy! Everywhere we go people stop me to talk about her. Her coat is a beautiful reddish blonde (I guess you call it buff) and so soft to the touch. Her eyes are bright and mischievous, she is playful and energetic and very, very affectionate. Lexie loves to sit on the console of my SUV with her paw placed over my right shoulder when we go on outings so I purchased a console seat for her. She is not a barker (except to alert me when a stranger comes on the property), she loves to play with my 3 cats and gets a lot of use out of all the toys she now has. Lexie is what some people call a "velcro" dog. She is my constant companion day and night, never letting me out or her sight and sleeping at the foot of my bed or with her head up near mine. She wakes me in the morning with some gentle dog kisses to tell me she needs to go out and then follows me around the house while I do my chores. We take walks in the woods, play ball and wrestle. She is intelligent, eager to please me and yet a little independent, too. In addition to all the affection she lavishes on me she adds just the right amount of excitement to my days and I look forward to interacting with her every day.
If your a follower of mine you would have probably noticed I've not posted for a while. I lost my photography mojo. However we got a new puppy last week and its help revitalise it.
