The Cock Crowing Stone is situated next to Wessenden Head Road, West Nab above Meltham. West Yorkshire.

It is sited close to a former sandstone quarry and may have been erected to mark the location of the path to the quarry, or to mark the location of the permissive path to the summit of West Nab.
It may have some pagan link, but nobody knows.
