Another example of the clutter of a bamboo forest. Their are many kinds of bamboo all over the world. Bamboo is a grass species. Bamboo lives 5 to 8 years depending on the climate and soil and can grow up to 24'' inches in one day. Their are many uses of bamboo all over the world, from food to construction material. Asia and India's usage of bamboo is equally comparable to our use of wood. It is a very resourceful commodity.
SOOC. :]
This photo was an accident that came out good. Seems that most of my pictures are that way.
Lovely way to start my 365. ;]
Walking through these places, or riding, they did not feel so busy or overpopulated. So it was interesting at moments like this to realise just how many people lived close by.
My idea was to use a floor lamp behind him and the off camera flash in front, camera right, but the flash didn't go off. I like this one better than the ones in which my flash went off.
Though I wish my clock were truly atomic, it is not. It just listens for the signal of the US Naval Observatory.
This is one of my favorite pieces I've ever made. It was part of a 'furniture' swap, where we were to purchase a piece of dollhouse furniture and alter it. I think that most of us purchased the armoire pieces, as they lend themselves quite well to a shrine-like piece.
I really didn't know what I was going to make for the longest time, so the nekked armoire sat on my art table just staring at me... (it didn't have eyes at that point!) So, I finally decided to give it eyes and have those eyes tell a story.
