I had some spare time before flying home so I spent it watching airplanes. at Clutter's Park. This is a nice spot but I want to try something different next time. I had great weather this day - much better than the pouring rain I had on my last visit. I took these photos in late March 2018.

My maiden kathakali photoshoot...was so excited abt it!!!
To my friends who are new to this dance form and Indian mythology in general...Raavan is a character from an epic called the Ramayana. The long short of it is that he is the bad guy (This is inference from the most popular versions of the Ramayana, you may also find some texts that refer to him as the hero.)
In the performance that I was watching today Raavan expresses his love for Sita (aka the hero Rams wife...lols) to his own wife Mandodari.
Am working on a pic from the above mentioned scene...its a bit cluttered...fingers crossed
Our "cluttered" kitchen. The fridge is hidden in the large cabinet on the right and the freezer is just below. There's a dishwasher on the left beside the white trays.
But, it's FUN desk clutter. See if you can find all of the things listed in my tags! Add notes and label each item.
Part 1 of a series!
A random snapshot of the back porch at the old house in rural western Lawrence County, Mississippi.
The back porch was going to become the outdoor kitchen that Mom would have used during the hot summer months because cooking on the stove as well as using the oven inside of the kitchen would heat up the house but since we had moved back to Brookhaven, it was never finished.
The reason why the screen door was "reinforced" was because we had a bunch of wild stray cats that would tear up the screen and other things.
creepy: shot 1am, zero light (except a small led-lamp i brought to get the focus right) in the remains of a cluttered industrial building, hobos, strange sounds...wooah! kudos to maren!
strobist info: beauty-dish from top/left, bare flash from top/right to light up the grafitti, triggerd via phottix wireless transmitters
Just showing the growing roster. I love that I can believably mix so many toylines. Eventually these may fill dios...if I can actually get a chance to work on them.

This reminds me of the Clutter Family Farm that Truman Capote describes in his novel In Cold Blood.
I've had this for about fifteen years. It is now making it's sixth (and maybe final) move to a new home.
when i saw the thing about 'hiding the main subject in the foreground' this was the first thing that came to mind since my desk is a bit of a mess. it felt perfect for this !

I went out looking for a couple of fresh angles around Springfield. As much as I enjoy having Grady tag along, I played the Birthday card and got a couple hours without him allowing me to wander away from the car. I'd had my eye on a couple of parking garages to provide some elevated views of the Illinois State Capitol Building. Since I had paid my $5 to be up here, I might as well shoot the going away view of the P42 in "DPU" mode! This shot is hopelessly cluttered but I kinda like the train within its enviroment here. The UP Springfield Sub almost looks like an alley track running down the 3rd Street alignment. It would be nice if the UP was just as predicable as the ATK trains are!
