I'm still finding images in my archive that I had forgotten about. Hopefully, Spring will be here soon and I can then take some new photos.
Tweaked just a little.
Much better large please xx
Explored. Thank you xx
For the remaining few years of the C&O signals on CSX's Northern sub I made a few mostly unsuccessful trips to catch trains and the classic signals. Probably the most famous location in the area was the Vauces interlocking where this westbound skirts the center siding on its way to Columbus.

Cottonwoods are probably the fastest growing tree in ND, and seem to thrive pretty much anywhere the seeds land that is out of the way of a combine. This cluster of 2 or 3 trunks is absolutely massive - easily over 100 years old. The clouds that day prompted me to look up and get a couple of shots that I composited for this pano.
During springtime every year, the Central Valley of California become filled with pollen from all the trees and flowers that grow there. It's the perfect opportunity to go out and take stunning flower photos. However, allergies make the evenings terrible for me, but it's worth it!
The Pleiades cluster (M45) was imaged from Seven Mile beach in the Cayman Islands. It was great to finally be under a relatively dark sky site. The photo was made of 36 fifteen second exposures taken with a Canon 80D and a Canon 200 mm f/2.8L II lens. (ISO 3200, f/3.5)

Leaves are turning and the Mushrooms are sprouting (not the correct term). This was a 58 image stack, I probably should have done a few more and adjusted other technical issues. Much of the time the problems are difficult to see when prone.
My Favorite Photo From the California Trip in 2006 i spent 30 minutes at the Montery Bay Aquariaum before i had to leave. I'm very impressed and proud of this shot! I hope you enjoy! :)
The Grauland Cluster is a cluster of asteroids in a nearly stationary orbit around one of the 14 moons of the gas giant planet known as Lilian.
It was discovered in the year 2174 by the unmanned deep space probe Explorer 225.
Images received by NASA from Explorer 225 showed astronomers something very startling, An inscribed obelisk amongst the rocks of the Grauland Cluster.
In an effort to determine how such an obviously constructed object came to be in a place in the galaxy devoid of intelligent life, Nasa sent a team to investigate and study this phenomenon.
Now in 2294 after years of travel in cryo-sleep and several years of study after arrival. Scientist are no closer to understanding the obelisk or where it came from or who placed it there.
But now the inscriptions on it's four rectangular vertical sides, have started to glow.
A different treatment to an image taken a few years ago. Still probably the best image I have from London :)

This is one image in a series on the city at night–––the magic and lure of its lights, the mix of architectural styles, the resulting dynamic when framed with a portion of the purely functional parking decks which served as my shooting platform. In the end though, it is the light that drives these images, providing the visual magic and lure that is a city at night. To see more in the CITY LIGHTS series, check out my City Lights Album
Here's a part of the Virgo Cluster it's pretty mind blowing at how many Galaxies are within this image
The Virgo Cluster is a large cluster of galaxies. Comprising approximately 1300 (and possibly up to 2000) member galaxies, the cluster forms the heart of the larger Virgo Supercluster, of which the Local Group (containing our Milky Way galaxy) is a member. The Local Group actually experiences the mass of the Virgo Supercluster as the Virgocentric flow.
