"Westliche Karwendelspitze" (2385 m above sea level)
A mountain in the "Karwendel" on the border between Bavaria and Tyrol. The peak is part of the Northern Karwendel range and lies between the Karwendel valley and the Isar valley above the town Mittenwald, Germany.

Another fantastic sky from last Sunday, the sky is pretty much unprocessed, I just had to increase the shadows to get exposure on the ground

A nice morning spent on Mam Tor looking to the cement works. Haven't been back here in the morning for quite a long time. I think it's much busier than it used to be, maybe it'll be quieter on an early summer morning.

Kate Bush stuck in my head after the recent popularity of Running Up That Hill due to Stranger Things using the track. Probably should mention it also being stuck in my head when going up Helsby Hill on Sunday!

Cloudbusting by Kate Bush:
As you probably know I do like clouds, they are objects of I think pure beauty and grace all different shapes and so fluffy and colorful, they float across our skies sometimes bringing us rain sometimes welcome shade.
They feature a lot in my landscape images as in this image where the band of cloud in a low pressure system brought rain and wind as I dangled over a ledge at Trevaunance Cove Cornwall. Thanks to Jane for my title.
Another from the same morning as my previous photo. The rising sun is just about to disappear into that huge bank of cloud. Haven't seen it again since!
An abstract take on a mesmerizing sky/extraordinary clouds that I photographed in May last year. It's fun to play around with new ways to present an image/scene.

Well, on Saturday I was mostly on Havergate Island in Orford Ness, Suffolk....here's the ferry that carried us to the Island and back again to the mainland..:)
