Intel Labs Europe has co-developed a new global technology standard that will help cloud service providers take better advantage of third-party cloud computing resources. The Open Cloud Computing Interface (OCCI) aims to allow these enterprises to develop single cloud applications, which can then be hosted by any cloud datacenter – providing greater choice, flexibility, and scalability than today.
