3rd July 2022, trying to get on top of the clouds (where it's smooth flying) to avoid the need to fly below them (bumpy flying) but as I reached 6,000 ft it was clear the tops were easily at 12,000ft, so time to call it and descend to below the cloudbase at 2,000 ft.

It was late & close to midnight. I went out about an hour before the storm was supposed visit our area. Storm slowed way down but was producing some nice ambient lighting against the lower cloudbase.
So I decided to stick around & see what was going to happen.
I wasn't going to be disappointed.
