Macro Mondays: Cloth
This is a photo of a microfibre cloth use for cleaning lenses and eyeglasses. HMM!
Made from a local Hmong hilltribe these infant shoes have been designed to embody the bright decorative textile work distinct to the Hmong people. Pa ntau or flower cloth sports bold geometrical design in bright contrasting colours.

Macro Monday's and the theme of "Texture".
I bought a cheap pack of four microfibre cloths for use in the car and I quickly settled on these while looking for a subject for this week's theme.
I decided to use all four of them for a more colourful image and arranged them on our table and used my torch to illuminate the scene.

This is a roll of upholstery fabric which has stood in a corner being ignored for the last year. It is meant to be used to cover one of a pair of armchairs which we bought from an antique shop. We decided to upholster both chairs ourselves which was quite the learning curve! We managed to complete one chair but the exertions of doing that meant we were in no rush to do the other one. It's on a list of things to do but unfortunately keeps getting pushed to the bottom of the list.
