testing out my slow 400mm lens. takes some getting use to. I'm a bit miffed at how soft this lens is at F/5.6. Nice and sharp at F/8. It's an old Vivitar / Komine, not Series 1. I'd bet the old 450mm solid cat takes a sharper picture at F/8. But for $40 it'll work for now....

A closeup of the details of Southwest Airlines Nevada One as it approaches the gate at John Glenn Columbus Airport to conclude a flight from Chicago Midway.
I've always loved this shot and use it for my computer's wallpaper. Love the reflection of the flash bouncing off of the drip tray onto the shot glasses, the swirl of espresso inside the glass, and the mirrored reflection in the stainless steel of the machine.
