I always try to get at least one close up picture of an eagle when we are in Homer. This eagle was very cooperative. I love their eyes. I can't wait to go back and try again!
A closeup, or macro shot, of a christmas tree at the "Festival of Trees" in Idaho Falls, ID.
Maybe somebody could use it for a Christmas Card or something.

The first rain reminds me
Of the rising summer dust.
The rain doesn't remember the rain of yesteryear.
A year is a trained beast with no memories.

I can't put to words how much this beautiful plant makes my days! The funny thing is I don't know who bought it for me!! I came home one day and it was sitting on my gate...just the bulb in the soil..it hadn't bloomed yet. I've had it for about 3 years now...it is so delightful.... I got up this morning and the sky is blue and the warm sunshine is shining in on my Amaryllis blossoms, backlighting the petals....I couldn't resist one more pic!!! The blossoms last a long time too!!! ♥ Notice the texture of the petals...:) Have a lovely weekend everyone! :)
