Normally, I wouldn't get close to a Yellow Jacket nest, but as many of them flew around, they again ignored me and went about their business while I snapped their photos. They didn't feel threatened by me.

On April 9th, I premiered my installation at Dominion Art Gallery, titled "Inspiration". This installation was created via visual cues taken from the wardrobe styling, album art, performance photos, music videos, and promotional imagery put forth by these artists. I'll be releasing all 8 images, one at a time, and today is the third.
This interactive installation can be seen at Dominion Art Gallery, which includes a 3D interactive build corresponding with the images, in addition to some fun gifts at the entrance (in the treasure chest). Check it out here:

This third image is my somewhat modern (mostly due to the dress length) interpretation of Karen Carpenter, inspired by the album cover for the Carpenters' album titled "Close To You".
For this image, I styled my av, created the pose, created an EEP for environemental lighting and lights for the set, photographed, and did the editing after.

Bangs: Magika - Bangs - Midnight (tinted in editing)
Dress/sleeves: ISON - sienna dress - white

...wow...it seems as if its been forever since I've been here...it's been a long first week with my students, what with all the assessments, books that came in late, and a ton of paperwork to go through. I’m sooooo glad I have a three-day weekend...lololol.

This series is some pictures which the focal distance to my object is within 3m, some are just sitting next to me....challenging but funny :)
