The Victoria Memorial Clocktower at King Edward Place, Penang, was built by local Penang millionaire Cheah Chen Eok in 1897 to commemorate the sixtieth year of the Queen's reign. The tower is sixty feet tall, with each foot for each year of the Queen's reign. By the time it was completed in 1902, the Queen had died.
The clocktower leans to one side, to the left in the image, which is the legacy of all the bombs dropped around it during the Second World War that destroyed the Government Building nearby.

A shot looking directly upwards at the Clocktower that was part of the Champion's Factory in Warmley, near Bristol, U.K. The Factory and presumably the clocktower was built in 1743.

A Clocktower ajoined to the old Champion's Factory building which was built in 1745. This building is in Warmley, near Bristol, U.K. The building is now something to do with a bus company.
Once again inside the Daniels & Fisher Clocktower amidst the crystal chandeliers and spiral staircases...
Very strange timekeeping device I'd say...
