The Clive steps are named after the statue at the center of Robert Clive. The building on the left is the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the building on the right is Her Majesty's Treasury. The awning at the bottom right is the entrance to the Churchill War Rooms where Prime Minister Winston Churchill lived and lead Britain's war response during WWII.
