Taken for my macro Monday shot....
A Jubilee Clip is a circular band or strip that is designed to hold a soft, pliable hose onto a rigid circular pipe of smaller diameter. The unit is made of galvanised pressed steel and the band has a series of parallel slots in it which engage with a single screw fixed to one end of the band in the form of a worm gear. Rotating the screw has the effect of reducing (or increasing if turning the screw anti-clockwise) the diameter of the circle formed by the band. Jubilee Clips are available in a range of sizes (diameters) and the width of the band increases proportionately to the diameter. In the UK, Jubilee Clips tend to be know by their brand name, but elsewhere, they are known by various names such as worm drive hose clip or hose clamp or hose clip. The design has been copied with many variations and there are many other hose clips of a similar design.
The Jubilee Clip itself is subject to a registered trademark in many countries around the globe, and was invented by ex Royal Naval Commander, Lumley Robinson, in 1921.

A new online platform for creators, CLIP is aimed at raising creators’ awareness of intellectual property rights, ensuring they receive recognition and fair reward for their work.
The hybrid launch event featured a panel of creators, including ABBA superstar Björn Ulvaeus, a presentation of the CLIP platform, and a musical performance.
CLIP is a joint initiative by WIPO and the Music Rights Awareness Foundation, co-founded by Björn Ulvaeus and Niclas Molinder.

Original photograph by Japanese Antiques. You slide the cord through your obi bow and clip each end onto a sleeve to keep your sleeves out the way, eg when doing household chores.
This is my the finished clip holder. I was going to add something over the top to keep the clips in with but since I wet moulded and hardened the leather, they stay in very well without it.
This is a prototype. I think I can do a better job on a second attempt. Things to add are perhaps something to assist in quickly releasing the clips since they're not going to come out accidentally but they could be hard to get out in a firefight. I also want to add some kind of leg attachment for it and to make a version like this but with two side by side to take 4 clips.
