In May 2005 I put together a show called "Hometown Nights". This image along with "Washington," "Zalm," "Cherry," "Joe DiMaggio," "Grand," "Koning Albert II," and "Wilhelmina Op Zuid" were all in it. All works were titled by the name of the street I was standing on (or closest to) while shooting the image.
"By holding ourselves accountable, we reinforce our moral authority to demand that all governments adhere to obligations under international law -- among them not to torture, arbitrarily detain and persecute dissenters or engage in political killings," Clinton said.

On Jan. 26-27, 2007 at Gallaudet University in Washington DC, SEIU local union leaders individually questioned eight Democratic presidential hopefuls—Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Sen. Barack Obama (D-IL), Sen. Joe Biden (D-DE), Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), former Sen. John Edwards (D-NC), Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT), Gov. Bill Richardson (D-NM), and former Gov. Tom Vilsack (D-IA) —about where they stand on the issues that matter most to SEIU members: affordable health care, good jobs, and retirement security.

This image from video released by Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign shows Hillary and Bill Clinton on a Web video that spoofs the final scene of the popular HBO mobster series "The Sopranos". The scene: a diner and a jukebox, a nostalgic song, a cut to black. The video and the announcement of Celine Dion's "You and I" as the official Clinton tune cap a month-long, interactive Internet campaign that drew more than a million viewers to the Clinton campaign Web site and to YouTube, the popular online video display room. Quite the architectural marvel. Flooded with light inside and out, it feels very light for such a large structure. Clinton Presidential Museum.

The week the Republicans met in New York City to kick off their National Convention, Bill Clinton rolled into Dublin and Belfast to sign his book. Few Presidents have been as loved by the Irish as Clinton. Kennedy made his mark and Clinton continues where JFK left off. Most of the Irish don't like an imperial President and they certainly don't appreciate the Bush foreign policy of American exceptionalism. They express those sentiments by standing in four-hour long queues to buy Clinton's book. Another photo for Irish Typepad by Bernie Goldbach.
