The awesome Cliff House Motel and Restaurant sign in Wahoo, Nebraska.
The motel itself was nowhere to be found as far as I could tell. It opened in 1961 and was still open in 1983.
The following description came from National Geographic.

The highway between Tres Piedras and Tierra Amarilla is one of New Mexico’s most scenic, threading the Brazos Mountains, where grassland basins and forests of evergreen and aspen at 10,000 feet [3,048 meters] are so cleanly delineated they look like landscaping. The Brazos Cliffs, composed of 1.7- to 1.8-billion-year-old Precambrian quartzite (the cliffs contain the oldest known rock in New Mexico), plunge 2,000 feet [609.6 meters] to the Rio Chama Valley.
Home again to Oregon but had lovely time in Ireland. Here are a couple shots of the cliffs. More time and I'd have walked further, though the steep parts were scary.
On the way to the Summit of Slieve League - we never actually got to the top. These cliffs are supposed to be the highest sea cliffs in Europe...
I was walking on the cliff to the right one day last month when a security guard came up to kick me off the site. People used to camp up there and now they have security guards watching the spot. He told me someone had died after falling off a cliff. "This cliff?" I asked. "One of them," He said. I had read about the death and wondered where he fell from. I guess it doesn't matter. They're all dangerous.
I drove up here last month intending to shoot north of the old pier, but stopped when I saw the trail down to this spot. I'd never been down here. Not sure why not, maybe it just looked uninviting or something. I went down and loved it so much I basically camped here for a week to shoot some differing conditions. This was a shot from a day with calm surf but some nice color.
