East Cliff in Whitby with St Mary's Church and the Abbey is frequently photographed from West Cliff. However, I find the reverse shot an attractive and interesting image.
Scary spectacular is how a friend described the cliffs. Standing 214m (702 feet) at their highest point they stretch for 8 km (5 miles) along the Atlantic coast of County Clare in the west of Ireland.
Somehow, no visit to Bridgnorth is complete without a trip to the Cliff Railway - opened in 1892 and still going strong today.
Afternoon is my favourite time in Zion Canyon. The sun shines down into the canyon, highlighting individual trees and rock formations, while everything else remains in deep shadow
This viewpoint is slightly lower down the cliff than the previous image and a bit of a scramble down but the two fingers of rock viewable from this lower position make great pointers.
