With the diving Gannet boat trip re-scheduled to a later start time I decided to spend an hour at Bempton Cliffs, didn't see the Albatross though unfortunately.

A nice and warm morning on the cliffs near Stonehaven this morning.

Just below the coastal path Nr Manorbier YHA, Pembrokeshire. It was a very stoney cove but worth the effort of going down and climbing back, a lovely location.

Home of Doc Martin this beautiful Cornish coastal resort is a bustling place .

he Cliffs of Moher are sea cliffs located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland. They run for about 14 kilometres (9 miles). At their southern end, they rise 120 metres (390 ft) above the Atlantic Ocean at Hag's Head, and, 8 kilometres (5 miles) to the north, they reach their maximum height of 214 metres (702 ft) just north of O'Brien's Tower, a round stone tower near the midpoint of the cliffs, built in 1835 by Sir Cornelius O'Brien, then continue at lower heights. The closest settlements are the villages of Liscannor 6 km (4 miles) to the south, and Doolin 7 km (4 miles) to the north.

From the cliffs, and from atop the tower, visitors can see the Aran Islands in Galway Bay, the Maumturks and Twelve Pins mountain ranges to the north in County Galway, and Loop Head to the south. The cliffs rank among the most visited tourist sites in Ireland, with around 1.5 million visits per year. This was one of our favorite places to visit. We spent two days enjoying the beauty of the ocean.

Picture taken in the North of Northern Ireland

Last night was one of those absolutely beautiful monsoon evenings in Sedona with gorgeous clouds, light, occasional rain showers mixed with rainbows, etc. While I missed out on the rainbows, I was fortunate to catch some of that gorgeous light bathing the beautifully rugged (and appropriately named) Crimson Cliffs just east of town. These cliffs are essentially an extension of Munds Mountain and really catch the eye of those driving into town along Hwy 179.

A stroll along the cliffs at North beach rush today. A chilly breeze but some nice colours appeared along the path.

The beach here was used by ladies from the nearby Palmer estate to swim and bathe. It is called Ladycove.

The path leads to Drummanagh pr-Drum man na the site of a Martello tower built to warn of invasion by the Vikings. These were built all along the east coast of Ireland.

As you walk along the flat portion of the cliff trail toward Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, you see a panoramic view of white chalk and basalt cliffs and Sheep Island.

In order to get to the Cottonwood Cove without 4-wheel-drive vehicle, me and my friend hiked through the wilderness from Paw Hole area. It was a great experience.

The Cliff Railway connects the upper and lower town and avoids over 200 steps. It came into service in 1892 and remains a much loved constant in the town of Bridgnorth.

Some of the cliffs in the West Port of Dubrovnik, Croatia, also known as King's Landing in Game of Thrones.

From near the top of the highest point of the TrælanĂpa cliffs you can see that the ocean has continuously attacked weak points of the rock at the waterline and created what appears to be some caves. For a perspective of the height of the cliffs, there are people near the cliff edge just left of center in the photo. The village of MiðvĂ¡gur can be seen at the far left and is the starting point for the hike to TrælanĂpa. The clouds can seem like an ever present companion while in the Faroes.
