Ken Wilkenson moves an old farming vehicle with a backhoe at the Clarksville ghost town in El Dorado Hills. Our employees and volunteers participated in the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup on September 22, 2011 at Varsity Creek in Prince George, helping remove about 55 pounds of refuse.
Taking part in an active environmental community is paramount which is why we not only organise our own beach cleanup events but also help out whenever we are invited to join other organisations or groups who organise events which share our goals and dreams!
Volunteers came out on a lovely Saturday to help clean out all the old junk from Mueller Farm to make it ready for St. Louis Composting to come in and clear away brush and invasive plant species
There was a lot of junk in the river, including tyres, shopping trolleys and the like... thankfully a team was clearing up this section!
