The time-lapse I was trying to do died about a bag or two in (out of twenty-one) even while the display looked fine, so here is the last shot for slight reference to the "after".
A mixed group consisting of Soldiers, Alpini, Department of the Army civilians and family members, work together to collect trash near Longare during the annual cleanup day March 11.
Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.
On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.
Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.

Hong Kong employees joined The Nature Conservancy at the Pak Nai mudflats for the first coastal cleanup activity of 2026 where they helped to remove marine litter trapped along the coastline and near the mangroves. They collected litter including bags, bamboo and lots of plastic barrels from the destroyed oyster rafts.
Taking part in an active environmental community is paramount which is why we not only organise our own beach cleanup events but also help out whenever we are invited to join other organisations or groups who organise events which share our goals and dreams!
