Cleanup Aktion im Mauerpark vom 17.9.2022

The annual Riverkeeper Sweep cleanup, pictured here at the Fall Kill in downtown Poughkeepsie, New York on May 3rd, 2025, brings community members together to pick up trash next to waterways in the Hudson Valley. The Riverkeeper organization hosts these cleanups each May in multiple locations across the Midhudson, New York City and North New Jersey to protect New York's wildlife and river systems, this year being the 14th. In this image, Fall Kill cleanup leader Lynne James pulls trash out of a neighborhood storm drain, including soda cans and a pizza box.

A mixed group consisting of Soldiers, Alpini, Department of the Army civilians and family members, work together to collect trash near Longare during the annual cleanup day March 11.

Members of the Vicenza Military Community came together to help Italian volunteers clean the town of Longare and surroundings up for spring.

 

On the following day, Soldiers from the Sergeant Morales Club and BOSS, along with their family members, joined Italian volunteers for the 4th annual cleanup day in Quinto Vicentino.

Both days, the cleanup ended with a luncheon offered to all participants to thank them for their enthusiasm and support.
