After a 21st Birthday Charter to Sandgate and Mitchelton and quite a few drinks, it is time to clean up the Party Train before heading back to Mayne ETD.

Steady rain throughout the day has made a muddy job of hauling away the remains of Tawes Hall. This building has been demolished to make way for the construction of the Center for Communications and Information Technology (CCIT).

Cleaning up the Dominguez Channel at Artesia Transit Center. Over 14,000 volunteers took part in Coastal Cleanup Day in Los Angeles County, cleaning up beaches, parks, alleys, creeks, highways and storm drains at 69 different sites. Over 300,000 pounds of debris and recyclables were removed by the various environmental organizations, community groups, families, local businesses, faith-based organizations and students that took part.
