Different techniques are used to retrieve and cleanup the tanks depending on the make-up of materials contained therein. For example, at Hanford a Sluicing and Acid Dissolution Technology was used to complete cleanup at tank C-106.

'Police said a car spun out of control along a winding section of Interstate 75 and caused the tanker to crash about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The drivers of the car, the tanker and a third tractor-trailer in the crash escaped with only minor injuries, said Hazel Park Fire Chief Ray DeWalt. He said all were treated at hospitals and released.

"A vehicle lost control and caused the tanker to lose control, causing it to flip," DeWalt said. He said that caused a Meijer Inc. tractor-trailer carrying produce to crash as well.'

When a leaf landed in this orbweaver's beautiful, freshly woven evening web, she dashed over and set about systematically excising it. Took her under 4 minutes. Web wasn't nearly so beautiful thereafter, but at least the leaf was gone. Spider body 11 mm long; web was a good half meter across.
