Creatures of the Coast is a fun way to explore the beach and rock platforms that are home to the colourful critters of the intertidal zone. They're free events, just RSVP online. Subscribe to our Living Mosman 'Sustainability and the environment' newsletter or keep an eye on our calendar of events for Creatures of the Coast in August and December. At our next event you'll learn how to tell the difference between a meat eating snail and a vegetarian snail just by looking at them.
The underwater clean ups are courtesy of local, volunteer dive groups. We have some fantastic snorkeling and diving around Mosman, let's keep it that way. As you can see, there is no shortage of litter to collect.

Initially, after the storm, the visible damage came int eh form of downed trees, boats and cars that floated away, and lots of wood debris from the bay washed inland. Now, as people pull everything that was destroyed out of their homes and pile them by the street, every block is filled with what will end up in landfills. Now you can see how much damage it did that you couldn't see before.
