🌊 Beach Cleanup in Palm Mar 🌿
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us today for our beach cleanup in Palm Mar with Canary Green! 🙌
I have to say, Palm Mar Beach is one of the cleanest beaches we’ve worked on this year — which is great news! Still, we picked up plenty of small plastics, cigarette butts, and other little bits that all add up and make a difference.
💪 Over 60 volunteers joined us today, and together we collected 112 kg of rubbish — amazing effort, team!

Volunteers came out on a lovely Saturday to help clean out all the old junk from Mueller Farm to make it ready for St. Louis Composting to come in and clear away brush and invasive plant species

The streets flooded, again. Here you see the chemical pile floating across the street. The rain rose so quickly that we had to move our vans and tool trailer to higher ground across the street. We carried as much as we could, as quickly as we could to the house before we were knee-deep. Another crew couldn't get to their house because the street was blocked by National Guard, and a third crew had to leave their house at 12:30pm because they wouldn't have been able to leave due to rising waters. We stayed all day and finished...with it raining inside and out.
