These birds are cleaning Sunflower seeds off the ground under the feeder. As I post this it is snowing and the yard is completely covered.

I wasn't sure if this was natural or cleanup of the flood debris along the Lindis River.

Every day this bird, and others, fly in while the lions are being fed to steal the leftovers.

Doing some hard drive cleanup and rearrangement so figure I'd toss up a few old US shots. A CN SD70 leads a southbound grain train on the Atlanta North District.

Keep in mind this is a really old shed, and all we've done is put a sliding door on and clean up the area in front of the actual shed door. Bob put two rows of cement slabs down after removing an old wood palate and all the junk sitting on it. He is in the process of putting those cement retaining blocks in front but right now they are not dug in. Maybe later we will do a coat of stain on the old half. I assure you the rail for the sliding door is perfectly level. It's the roof that has heaved up a bit on the left. I think that part of the roof (which is an overhang) was an add-on.

A week ago we had about 5 inches of snow in East Texas. The farm had quite a few tree limbs downed following the uncommon event for this part of the US. So...clean it up!

Some of the volunteers I worked with at a past Great Whiteaker Cleanup Parade which is an annual neighborhood community cleanup.

Unfortunately I will be unable to participate this year due to work obligations. :(

A quick trip to Fellows Lake between bouts of rain and thunderstorms yielded crew of Black vultures. There were either two carcasses or one that had been partially 'relocated.' This portion was in the 'weeds.' The rolling red truck didn't seem to bother this guy or the crew in the road.

Over the years I've been following red foxes, I'm always amazed by how attentive they are as parents. Whilst the male plays a more limited role in bringing up the next generation, the vixen is a devoted mother, constantly checking on each cub to ensure all is well.

In the case of this particular vixen, that involved making sure her family were well groomed before the family portraits were taken...

Cesspool personally inspects his latest find, a treasure trove of hazardous waste runoff he can repurpose and weaponize for cobra.

Finally found some slime barrels at target today, and decided to use the slime for a few pics before throwing it out.

These cupcake holders make for a much easier cleanup!

This little spike and his other spike buddy were working on eating our windfall apples, yesterday. I appreciate that! However, earlier in the year they wanted to eat all our flowers!!

fall cleanup was greatly delayed this year due to late leaf drop &early(ish) snow...

General Electric E60MA No. 609 speeds an unidentified NEC train through the ghost station of Colonia NJ on 24 June 1989. The big motor looks good after recycling from its original form as the 957, and for a short time, renumbered as the 951.

Older stations in Colonia and Iselin were replaced by the larger Metropark station, and in 1989 the old infrastructure was still standing and accessible.

Let's face it... not all jobs are glamorous, even in Kaliphlin.

My third (and last) contribution to the Kaliphlin at Work collab. See more of the collab at Guilds of Historica!

Back when cobra began to go bankrupt in the early 90's, a number of cobra agents and leaders began to hide away assets and supplies all over the world. Cesspool was no exception. His signature creation, "plasmatox" was buried in several locations, but in their haste the barrels and containment units were not properly secured, and now over a decade later pools of the substance have begun to emerge from the ground. Letal and a team have been sent to investigate and recover whatever is left of this horrific substance.

What the summer people don't see.
