Pushed the furniture aside, put on a gigantic t-shirt and hospital pants, tied rags to my feet, and let Murphy's Oil and Pledge spray turn my living/dining room into a skating rink. I kept falling, but it was worth it. I'll feel it tomorrow, guaranteed!!!

Lighting setup: one sb-600, camera left with CTO gel, bounced off the ceiling at 1/4 power. Another sb-600 behind the white bowl on the floor, pointed at foot level to light the floor (no gel or diffuser) at full power. Fired by Pocket Weasel in my right hand.

3" exposure, flashes fired once while I polished the floor with the rags on my feet.

Not even a really good photo, but it was my first attempt with both Pocket Weasels (I can't bring myself to call them "wizards." "Weasel" is just too good of a word.

Face-down in the local Subway. The floor was fairly clean. :)

The hoover blew up yesterday, which wasn't bad going as it was just over 11 years old.

MrD popped out to pick this one up on his lunch break today. Can't believe how much it actually sucks things up. Here's hoping this one lasts a while.

Blacky relaxing after we had cleaned the floor... The sun was shining through the window... He was also playing near Jasons work boots at the time of this capture.... This is the last capture i took of Blacky before my new camera arrived (yeah).... So now i'll try and get better capture on my boys.......

Since I won’t have power for the weekend, I decided to cheat and post a picture early for Sunday. I’m not sure if I’ll have power Monday either, heck I won’t even know if I’ll be alive! So why am I worrying about my P365?! BECAUSE I LOVE YOU GUYS. And wanted to share my newly clean floor. Usually I’m immaculately clean in all aspects of my life including my room but I’ve been so crazy with college stuff lately that there was crap all over the place. I finally cleaned up after I killed a big ass spider and didn’t want any hiding among the papers. Ugh, should’ve taken a before picture! Damn.

Shit, I have no idea how I scoffed my floor like that!

Today, my husband and I sealed the tile floor and grout in the foyer, den, and kitchen. This involved me vacuuming and steaming the floor several times.

As the saying goes, it really is so clean you could eat off of it.

Truthfully, this picture didn't turn out as I envisioned. I probably should have put myself in it eating from the ice cream sundae on the floor - but that would have meant you would have seen me looking pretty shabby after cleaning all day. Instead, I slapped a texture on it. It will just have to do for today.

For those who followed my last 365 project, you know my joke about Shamwow's...but my Shamwow didn't let me down today!!

Yes. This is how dirty my floors were. I have not SCRUBBED my floors since before photography season hit in the fall (the thought of that is disgusting), so today I took advantage of temps above 20 and opened the windows and bleached my floors. I ordered a Haan Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer over the weekend and I knew I really needed to SCRUB my floors to get everything out of the cracks so I can play with my new toy when it comes in today! So yes, I cleaned my floors so I can clean my floors.

Anyway, I dumped bleach water all over them, got on a conference call and let them sit for a while. Then I took a deck brush to them and then wiped up all of the water with my Shamwow.

He was right....You will say WOW every time.

I visited Kemp at work and stayed until he closed the store. While I was studying I met this random guy named Michael. He was old-ish, married, and had 3 kids, and we talked for about an hour about languages, traveling, and current events. Oh yeah.

She wouldn't have ever gotten this old without them.

Note (Question): Does anyone else use iPhoto Retouch to clean their floors?

The bottoms can be pulled off to wash them.

But still, looks good

...and getting everything up off the floor.

Why did I take this? What was I going for? Clean floor, maybe?

Darn, that stuff really is slippery...
