Note: Jainnie since you asked about this vacuum I'm posting a link for it below, for anyone else who's interested. It is a Bissell 9400 ProHeat 2X Select Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner. I totally researched steam cleaners online before I bought it. There were quite a few which people complained about, including the Bissell model that came out just before this one (which apparently took like 15 minutes to clean and dismantle, and it leaked) but this one got 5-star rave reviews from so many people I was sold on it. I even passed on a fancy looking one at Costco that looked fancier but cost less.
This model is SUPER EASY to use, fast, the water heats up and the carpet dried faster than with my old Bissell steam cleaner (which was harder to use, had a huge hose, took forever to set up, was hard on my back). And it doesn't leak. Plus, it has attachments so you can easily steam clean other stuff like your sofa, car seats, walls, tile floors. I was getting off on getting little spots out of my sofa yesterday.
I cleaned the whole kitchen floor and the area by the cat litter box yesterday (an area I was always a little grossed out by, feeling like, even if I wiped it down with a mop it was still dirty). I walked barefoot all over my house yesterday and the carpet and floors just felt sooo smooth. Love it, love it, love it. I should sell this thing.
