Municipal workers were getting ready for cleaning streets after a massive march in protest of something. I couldn't read the posters in Portuguese and had no idea what the protest was about.

It was all peaceful and even in good humor.

Clean Mk2 at Gti International 2006

Took some time this morning to suss out the source of the slow leak that came up before the holidays, finding a shard which pierced the rear tire just outside the reinforced zone down the center. Also figured I clean and degrease the thing, and add some lube to the chain.

After reassembling everything, I reset the cyclometer. Total mileage for last year: just short of 1,200 (1196.28 to be precise.).

Why do all this now, on the 6th of January? I may have a full 3 days of biking this coming week. Which is saying something for Chicago.

Hope it's nice wherever you are.

Never cleaning your duct looks like never bathing. Is n't it too dirty and smell. So guys cleaning your kitchen duct are very essential as a bathing is essential for our body. These dirty ducts are very very destructive or incurable for us. Dirty duct may.

I started re-arranging bedroom bookshelves this evening. Looking through dvd's, lots of movies on the shelf that we haven't watched yet. I need to pile them somewhere else...

And dusting toys...

Re-arranging them more "wisely".

Now our bed is full of dvd's and toys... :-)

Green Change hosted a Clean Transportation Meetup at Good Earth in Mill Valley on July 23, 2019, to discuss how we can fight climate change by using different modes of transportation: ride clean vehicles, use public transit, drive less and walk or bike more.

This free community meetup was moderated by Fabrice Florin and featured short talks by these guest speakers:

• Stephanie Moulton-Peters - Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM)

• Carleen Cullen - Drive Clean Marin

• Karen Wiener - The New Wheel

• Wendi Kallins - Sustainable Marin

• Patrick Seidler - Wilderness Trail Bikes

We presented these climate actions that people can take to use clean transportation:

• Get an Electric Car

• Get an Electric Bike

• Take Public Transit

• Drive Smart

• Ride a Bike

• Walk More

After the talks, we discussed our personal experiences about using clean transportation in our own lives, connecting experts with people who are just getting started.

This free community event was sponsored by Good Earth Natural Foods and took place in the new community room at their Mill Valley store. GreenChange.net will host more climate action meetups in this room in fall 2019.

The front panel after gutting and cleaning. I didn't go hogwild on cleaning up this area, just a quick Windex'ing. I have yet to scrape off that little white label on the upper right corner, in fact...

------This is a 1940's military vintage UHF Signal Generator used for testing/calibrating radio equipment. I bought this for $20 from eBay (local, no shipping) for conversion.

After gutting and cleaning (sounds like a fish) I installed a standard ATX motherboard chassis, 420 watt power supply, and mounts for drives to convert it into a complete computer case.

My shirt is tucked in, I never tuck my shirt in.

He had just pulled onto the road, and I took advantage of his slow speeds and the amazing side lighting during the storm.

Although we were traveling at highway speeds, I was unfortunately a passenger for these fotos. :(

Why are we here? You know, planet earth, the grind of the mundane, the exhilaration of love and birth, the dread of what will be tomorrow, the roller-coaster ride of eternity.

What's it all about?! It's all about cleaning your mess.

If you really understand that everything is Light and if you really understood that the only thing that creates separation between us and the Light is the garbage we have inside of us, then the willingness to look at the garbage means the willingness to expose it to the Light.

The second the Light sees it, it burns it out. It's like a laser. The problem is, we don't always have the willingness to see what we do that separates us from the Light.

Why? Because the second there's a willingness - a desire - to let the Light in, we let the Light in. And the second the Light comes into contact with darkness, as I said, it burns it out. Our Opponent knows that. It's its job to keep us from connecting with our source.

All you have to do is search. The willingness to look is more important than the actual finding.

The problem is we don't even look. On a practical level, let's say we're going through apathy, depression, mourning process, not enough money, [fill in your own pain.] It's the nature of the conscious mind to run from pain, to subjugate it, so we don't fully embrace the emotions.

That's the reason they stay.

We need to apply the proactive formula process to our emotions and all the negative 'stuff' we have inside. We can't let go of something until we are first holding it, right?

don't be afraid to hold your garbage because when you do, you can let go of it! To put it in physical terms, you've got to pick something up before you can drop it. Be willing to embrace yourself this week - specifically those difficult, hard-to-handle emotions. When you are feeling angry or sad or lost, allow it to be there. Even speak to your emotions. What do you want to tell me?

Listen to your emotions like you are listening to a child. With patience. With understanding. With compassion. With love.

Today felt like a long day, but really it wasn't all that bad. My mover brought the rest of my belongings, motorcycle included! So we took about an hour and unloaded the truck, shortly after, he and i went out to get a bite. He's a really cool guy to chat with. As a mover, he's been all over the US and Canada and had a lot of stories to tell. I'm done for. Have a lot more work to do tomorrow so it's bedtime.

Our Cultural Affairs Officer Maureen Mimnaugh also worked side-by-side with the alumni and Lerato House residents to clean-up the nature area! She emphasized that regular clean-ups help to protect the habitat of species.

The turtles and the fish know where to find the local cleaning station, where turtles can come to have their shells cleaned by obliging local tropical fish. Here two enormous green sea turtles, each about five or six feet long, loiter in the cleaning station, surrounded by colorful cleaners. These are cropping up all along I-90 near the Columbia river. I am glad to see them as I am a huge proponent of renewable, clean energy. I am amazed at how large they actually are - I'm guessing 20-25 stories? Maybe more?
