Nothing special about this shot apart from the fact that Fynn ist unusually clean. He had a bath today, probably the first bath of his life. Fynn likes water but that doesn't mean automatically that he enjoys a bath. He was quite good (for a cat), though, and we both survived the experience. The bath was necessary as he was really quite dirty and washing himself isn't exactly Fynn's strong suit. When I let him out in the garden again I honestly expected that he would lie down in the dirt right away but he surprised me and stayed on the path. :)
I noticed that I was avoiding using the thermos I usually keep tea in because it was affecting the flavor of anything I kept in it. Time for a cleaning. I use a product called dip-it, which contains sodium perborate, sodium carbonate, and sodium silicate. It does a great job and is fun to watch as well. It's an entirely different kind of tempest in the tea ware.

I had the privilege of watching this adult bald eagle take its afternoon bath right next to this juvenile. This is a single frame, not focus stacked.
