This program is a collaboration between Madison Historical Society and Madison Public Schools. The purpose of the program is to pay respect to the past by connecting students to the people and the conflicts they have studied about in the classroom. We had 13 7th graders from Polson Middle School teaching 160 5th graders from Brown Middle School about people from Madison who served in various wars. In addition, Mike Carroll from Rediscovering History.Inc taught all the students about headstone cleaning and the importance of preserving them. All students participated in the restoration project. It was “ All hands on deck!”

A team of 3 powerwash technicians used 2 industrial pressure washers to steam-clean and powerwash this paver driveway in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pavers had to be chemically treated to help remove existing sealer that was old and failing. The layers of dirt and soot made the colors of the painting very dull and grey. Once the dirt, soot, and yellowed varnish were removed, the soft tones, vibrant colors, and sparkling gold leaf in the painting could once again be appreciated.
Final Product. Still some spots in the upper bit of the image. I'm not worried about those at the moment. If they start showing up in my images, I'll clean again. It's definitely an improvement over the Before. I really don't want to be touching my sensor with anything, anymore than I need to...

Yokomo MR4-BC with a little bit of crash protection afforded by a Yokomo MR4-TC front bumper. I added the bumper after a crash that damaged most parts in the front suspension at a speed the Baja Champ would probably have come out of unskathed. But then this is so much faster so has to be built lighter I guess.
Easter weekend and the council have the beach clean, pretty soon the dog walking ban starts and that pisses me off as most folk clean up after the mutts but the nappies and rubbish left behind by humans now that's another matter........
