I browned the chicken pieces and removed them to a platter. Now I'm softening the onion and garlic and boiling off some of the alcohol from the white wine.

Chicken with red wine vinegar, tomato paste, and red onion. Well, it was supposed to be shallots.

This is supposed to be around step 3, browning the chicken pieces.
