Am 20.08.2002 führte es uns zu dritt nach Brandenburg (Havel). Mit Fahrrädern bewaffnet wollten wir den Zügen von und zum Stahlwerk auflauern.
In Brandenburg Altstadt tauchte die orangefarbene Lok 628 der ITB - Industrietransportgesellschaft auf. Bei ihr handelt es sich um 346 522, die nach der Ausmusterung bei der DB ein 2. kurzes Leben bei der ITB erhielt.
Die Lok entschwand auf dem letzten Streckenstück der Westhavelländischen Eisenbahn, welches bis Brielow Ausbau vorhanden ist. Sie machte jedoch an der Kanalbrücke schlapp, so daß wir nach Auskunft durch den Lokführer mit unseren Rädern vorfuhren.
Der Goldbroiler tauchte dann auch wenig später in Brielow Ausbau auf. An der Kopframpe, die das Ende der Strecke markiert, standen einige Flachwagen, die abgeholt werden sollen.
Zu der Zeit sorgte eine KFZ- oder Panzerwerkstatt für etwas Güteraufkommen.

50049 and 50007 approach Pontrilas with 1Z50, a circular tour from Birmingham International in glorious conditions.

The Battenkill Railroad's "borrowed" RS-36 5012 heads south through the small town of Shushan, NY passing the two former SNC BL-2's which are being stored on the siding here. Both locomotives wear D&H inspired paint schemes which look right at home on this ex D&H branchline.
The HDR classic auto photo is a bit clichéd, but we post it anyway. . . for the license plate . . . at a car collectors show in the park on Labor Day.
UP Big Boy 4014 rolls under the old CNW signals near Kenosha, WI, on a pleasant July morning. There were PLENTY of people here upon our arrival, and I was somehow lucky enough to have a small spot to myself to shoot video and pics.

One year ago today, a herculean effort between KSHC, SARM, CSX, RJ Corman, and the KRM allowed the movement of C&O 2716 from New Haven to its new home in Ravenna, KY.
After a sweltering afternoon of official ceremonies, the night photo session of C&O 2716 and CRR 800 provided some reprieve and enjoyment to the folks blessed to attend. It was the perfect way to cap off its 3 day journey across the Commonwealth.

Bennet Levin's Juniata Terminal EP22 5809 was soaking up the Carolina sun at the Streamliner Event in 2014.

Se trata de un lugar archiconocido en un bosque que lleva el camino de convertirse en otro Otxarreta. A mi personalmente me parece bien, que la gente disfrute de lugares tan espectaculares especialmente cuando acompaña la niebla. Así que a disfrutarlo amigos,que para eso está ahí. Espero que os guste.
