Tsukiji market, the empty carts return to rest. Too late to experience the fish auctions
but too early to be fairly conscious of anything..

My new Integrity Toys Doll, Color Clash Alysa 3.0 from the Industry Collection. She's wearing Barbie Collector-50th Anniversary and my own creation earrings.
I have gone beyond dipping my toe in the Integrity/FR pool and taken a step in. I ordered this doll from a dealer. She's my fourth Integrity doll and the first blond.
And in her first Flickr appearance she wears a thrift store dress ;)
2026 - Arrhakis - The Year of a New Cycle by Daniel Arrhakis (2025)
Since 2013 I have been on a journey through Creative Photography, later Digital Art, and most recently Artificial Intelligence.
Daniel Arrhakis has long embodied characters, stories, thoughts, ideals, tributes, desires, and a constant struggle against the shadows that were already looming on the horizon, revealing the resurgence of oligarchic absolutist dictatorial systems and an Ultranationalism based on contempt for human values and a culture of hatred.
A brief foray into politics proved fruitless, as the ideological-partisan struggle has recently become a blind battle that mixes concepts, transforms values, and manipulates human beings through addictive algorithms on social media.
More than a clash of ideas, we need a pause to think, time to reflect, space and time to rediscover ourselves, to rediscover the values we have lost, to appreciate human relationships and relearn to respect culture and nature.
But above all, to discover humanity's role in this Universe of which everything and everyone is a part.
2026 is the continuation of a new personal project that I started in 2025 with the Rovingian Council Series and the Nomadic Monks - An artistic project, but also a humanist and spiritual one.
Based on principles of the Humanistic Mystic Movement, but which, on a personal level, the artist and author will try to put into practice in his daily life and in the spiritual, social and artistic interactions he will develop.
In some cases I will stop managing some Flickr groups and will have fewer political interventions, but I will always try to give some feedback in due time and space, out of friendship and respect for all the friends I have met and admire!
Wishing everyone Happy Holidays, a Merry Christmas, but above all, an excellent New Year of 2026 my Dearest Friends !!

Not sure if I like this one or not, but am posting it anyway : ) This bright flower was growing in front of another plant which had long, rigid, pinkish leaves. I did write down the names of some of the flowers I photographed, but as usual, I'm not sure which name fits each flower. I know nothing about garden plants, unfortunately.
A pair of male elephants have a coming together, part of life's lessons, learning how it will be in later years when they fight for dominance of the herd.
This scene was close to the Madikwe Lelapa Safari Lodge, at a waterhole that could be viewed from the swimming pool area, what a way to relax!
Bat of Gotham against Son of Krypton.
My submission for The New Paper's #batmanvsuperman art contest earlier this month, which unfortunately wasn't shortlisted. No biggie, rushed it out in 30 minutes anyway.
The point is, it's just one week to the release of this long-awaited clash of superheroes!

Thomas Hoyne's New Ways on the Banquereau in the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, one of my favorite paintings there. It's about a clash of technologies. The men in the dory work their nets by hand. They're looking back at a steam-powered trawler whose mechanized nets would put them out of business. That would have happened around 1900, though the scene was painted in 1981. Most people miss the history lesson, responding instead to the depiction of the rising swell in the foreground, which makes you feel that you're out there yourself. (The Banquereau is a fishing area in the North Atlantic south of Nova Scotia, Canada.)
