Een Connexxion-15-meterbus op 'dubbeldekkerlijn' 346 Haarlem - Amsterdam Zuid. De concessie IJsselmond ging eind 2023 op een grotere concessie, waarvan EBS de aanbesteding won. Connexxion kon inpakken met z'n bussen, dus die zien we nu elders. Lijn 346 is samen met Arriva-lijn 50 inmiddels een 'dieseleiland' in een grotendeels elektrische busomgeving
Some unusal buses are running around Haarlem since the end of 2023, when Connexxion lost its franchise in the province of Overijssel to another operator. The VDL Citea bus still carries the old brand of the province of Overijssel

Keolis 8535 working night shift on route 98N between Frederikssund and Roskilde almost like daily route 230R but with some diversions serving more country side villages. Route 98N requires the driver to have a valid license card for the tachograph reader due to the route being more than 50 kilometres (the route is 61 kilometres).
This 11 year old Citea has 1,5 million kilometres on the clock and will be taken out of service in december this year when the contract ends and Keolis will hand over routes 230R and 98N to Ditobus Linjetrafik A/S.

While Amsterdam was still waiting to receive the first of a series of ten articulated Citea buses, this demonstration model was on show on Busworld in Kortrijk, Belgium.
Terwijl Amsterdam in afwachting was van de levering van de eerste gelede Citea's, was deze demoversie te zien op de autobussalon Busworld in het Belgische Kortkrijk bij de Franse grens.

Since today (14th December 2014) the Amsterdam Central bus station (CS IJzijde) is fully operational. GVB and Connexxion relocated their operations (partially) to this new bus station, and in a few years the bus lines that stop in front of the Victoria Hotel (Prins Hendrikkade) will also be relocated to the new bus station. The opening of CS IJzijde was delayed multiple times because of the construction problems of the North-South metro line that runs beneath the bus station. The project still needs to be finished, as only one of the three staircases is operational yet and the shops beneath the bus station need to be built yet.
I think this new bus station looks very nice (transparent and spacious) and in my opinion it is a good thing that the busses do not stop in front of the busy Central Station anymore. The big downside is the walking distance between the busses and the tram and metro; from now on you need to cross the station, which can be very crowded during rush hour while the station is still in de process of being renovated.
In this picture you can see an articulated Citea-bus of GVB, which is about to start its ride back to Molenwijk in Amsterdam North. In the back you can see two R-net busses of regional operator EBS.

In December 2023 EBS started operating a new concession which includes most services in Flevoland. The new buses for the concession were not delivered on time and that saw 40 former Syntus Twente VDL Citea's drafted in.
