Ashwood Terminus is situated at the north end of Jesmond Drive, the current turning circle was only ever intended as a temporary measure as the plans were for Jesmond Drive to be extended further to connect with Scotstown Road however this never happened and around 25 years later the temporary turning circle remains.
As the turning circle was only meant as a temporary measure it is much tighter than usual with one side being straight line with a 90 degree angle, again a hint to the fact the road was to be extended.

First Aberdeen Mercedes-Benz O530G Citaro 11108 BG58OMC snakes round Laurel Place on approach to Danestone Terminus while operating a Service 1 from Garthdee.
Aberdeen now have 5 Citaros in service, albeit two are restricted to school duties and a third has been proving quite troublesome. All B7LAs remain in service for the moment.
