Cisco was rescued from near death on New Year's eve. he was very weak, unconscious, not eating, heardly breathing. For some 2 days things were very bad. Then, after getting some fluids, special a/d food squirted in his mouth, lots of love and good wishes - he slowly began getting better. After 4 days he seemed out of the woods and I took him to a loving foster mom who works from home...
I don't have his pics at his worst out of respect and sadness (honestly I thought he wasn't going to make it). Pic by Jill, Cisco's foster mom.

I tend to photograph the same people in my life. Sometimes this is discouraging to me as I wanna shoot different people. Then I realize why I shoot these people. Cause one day they're not gonna be here and I'll be glad I have so many photos of people I love and not strangers I met for just a second.

I normally don't wear hats that 20,000 other people have put on their heads but spending the afternoon engaged in water sports at the swim up bar can really alter ones perspective on life...it can also cause one to cast all inhibitions to the wind...lol

Cisco is an old ghost town on the Utah desert, just a few miles west of the Colorado state line. The town is on the Amtrak California Zephyr route just west of dramatic Ruby Canyon. This image is scanned from a slide taken on May 28, 1989 while traveling by rental car from Grand Junction, Colorado to Moab, Utah. The town is on Highway 128, which is the scenic "River Route" from Interstate 40 to Moab.
