I love the small world that the macros lens gives us a glimpse of. ALways been fascinated with the internals of electronics.
Reims - Gueux race circuit.
This is really a must see if you're into historic F1 motor racing.
Nothing modern exists in this timeless relic from those forgotten days: no signs, no entry fees, no placards, exhibitions, museums etc, just partly derelict pit buildings left just as they were.
That's the beauty of this place. You need to get into the spirit of the 1950's and 1960's.
Having checked out the circuit, examined corners and bends, and reassured ourselves as to the (non) presence of gendarmes, we each took the Chrysler out for some 'flybys'.
Only when we were sure that the roads ahead were empty, and that we'd backed-up any following traffic, did we hit the pedal to the floor. Captured this on video, and ripped a number of individual images to honour the run.
The Chrysler might not have the growl of a V8, nor the acceleration of a Porsche 911, but it's big, powerful and quickly builds to an impressing 3+ figures as it effortlessly whispers down the straight.
You gotta hold your nerve, and a good line.

A very clean cockpit design. No panels full of circuit breakers, instead this electronic display monitors all of them.

This photo is of the Circuit City in Waterford Lakes Town Center, Orlando, Florida.
Circuit City's history dates back to 1949. Circuit City struggled to reinvent itself; however, its emphasis on high-priced TVs and a decision to replace the commissioned sales staff members with less skilled hourly employees didn't work out. Circuit City closed its doors for a final time on Sunday, March 8th, 2009.
Update: On Friday, May 22nd, 2009 Systemax Inc. (SYX) completed the acquisition of the Circuit City e-commerce business and launched the "new and improved" CircuitCity.com. Out of the ashes... we will see how this works out.
Manatee County Courthouse in downtown Bradenton was built in 1913. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. Today, the building contains the offices of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, providing a variety of records and services.
